The British Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic was established in 1998 as a non-governmental organsation supporting business relations between the United Kingdom and the Slovak Republic. It is part of the global network The British Chambers of Commerce, which has representation throughout the world. It provides a platform for its members from the ranks of corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, entrepreneurs and experts from various sectors to create business opportunities, network and exchange knowledge. BCCSR organises professional seminars, workshops, social and networking events that allow members to make new contacts and share experiences. It is a signatory of Race to Zero within the framework of COP27, the Equal Pay Initiative and cooperates with non-governmental and expert organisations in Slovakia, such as Compliance Circle, the Automotive Industry Association, SBA, ASAI Association.
